Glen's such an amazing legend. Amazing talent and has still a very powerful dynamic voice after all these years. I also agree about Black Country Communion, they're probably my all time favorite super group and definitely a great live band. The live material available to watch is beyond impressive. The level Glenn sings at is very impressive to say the least but great music great songs great band. Its a magical chemistry of musicians and what they produced together is like if Deep Purple and Zeppelin had a baby I guess would be my personal translation of their stuff.

I really dig the clean tone. To me, it sounds like he’s into the southern/country feel of things. I guess that’s why him and Dime, also with the ability to drink like fish, were boys. 😂🤘🏼🤘🏼

Most metal fans I know, myself included, pretty much like any GOOD music, in any genre. Thinks that are modulated or made on a computer, or uses autotune till beyond usually fall short. Some common exceptions are typically new pop music, whiny country and Rnb. But even among those genres you can usually find some good songs. I think we are good at appreciate good musicianship in general. But sure, find me a metal fan that doesn't like Queen, Dire Straits or Pink Floyd. If you don't like those, you don't really like music in my opinion.

I knew Jason was great and an excellent fit when I heard "The $5.98 E.P. - Garage Days Re-Revisited" for the first time. A good replacement shouldn't be an exact replica of who they are replacing. Jason is an awesome Bass Player and was a great fit at that time. Unfortunately the rest of the band hazed the crap out of the guy which I am sure was their way of dealing with the loss of Cliff. Some of Jason's solo work is really good as well with his band "Newsted" I haven't heard his other solo material so I can't comment on it.
